Dad's funeral took place at St Mary's Church, Scarborough on 11th July 2014. We were able to get the military flag for the Royal Irish Fusiliers for the day and there was a Miliary Guard of Honour and salute from the Military Police, as Dad was a serving member during the war. This was a great honour. I hope dad would have felt happy with what we arranged for him on his funeral day. xx
